Last week, researchers and partners from the Health Holland Tailored Lifestyle Programme consortia came together in Utrecht for the first community meeting.

The kick off meeting was all about getting to know each other, sharing ambitions and exploring where projects can learn from and strengthen one another.

Each consortium introduced its research questions, partners and the impact it aims to achieve providing a first glimpse of the breadth of expertise and perspectives within the programme.

Together, the projects are working on integrated, data-driven approaches to healthy lifestyles and living environments. But creating impact requires more than strong individual projects. It also means connecting knowledge, experiences and people across consortia. That is exactly what the Tailored Lifestyle community aims to facilitate.

We also explored how to communicate complex scientific insights clearly and meaningfully to different audiences during an interactive Science Communication workshop lead by Stephan van Duin, in which each consortium created their research slogan.

Thank you to all researchers, industry partners and societal partners who joined us and contributed to the conversations. We look forward to building this community together and to seeing new collaborations and connections emerge along the way.

The Tailored Lifestyle Programme brings together multiple consortia working on new approaches to support healthier lifestyles and living environments.
