The Institute 4 Preventive Health (i4PH) organises an interactive workshop in which we will explore and shape the future of preventive health in the Netherlands together.

The challenges our society faces – such as the rise of chronic diseases and the growing pressure on healthcare professionals – call for new connections and joint action. Only by working together can we build a stronger, fairer, and more empathetic preventive health system.

In recent months, i4PH has explored the factors that determine successful transitions in preventive health. Too often, promising solutions remain at the level of ideas or pilot projects. During this workshop, we aim to build on your insights and our preliminary research to develop a roadmap that provides direction for future transitions and creates space for concrete and actionable measures.

What will be discussed?
Why do some transitions succeed while others stall? What helps policymakers navigate the complexity of preventive health? These are the questions we will explore together. We will share our initial findings and invite you to expand upon them with your own practical experience and vision.

By connecting knowledge, practice, and perspectives, we will discover what truly works. Together, we will develop a broadly supported roadmap and formulate recommendations to help policymakers and professionals drive the necessary technological and social innovations.
