Eindhoven University of Technology, Wageningen University & Research, Utrecht University and UMC Utrecht are preparing their students and professionals for the future. They will increasingly be called upon to solve complex challenges in our society. This strategic alliance brings together students from different institutions and disciplines.

For Students: Academics of the future

The academics of the future are learning to combine disciplinary knowledge and expertise with a broad range of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge and skills. This enables them to work and communicate with colleagues from other disciplines and with partners outside academia in complex and diverse contexts.

EduXchange. Together, the institutions create innovative educational programmes to engage students and professionals in shaping the future and tackling major societal challenges in the areas of energy, health, circular economy and nutrition. Students of Eindhoven University of Technology, Wageningen University & Research or Utrecht University can use the EduXchange platform to take courses at any of those institutions. The platform removes administrative barriers, so the students themselves can enrol in a straightforward way.

Challenge based learning. The alliance is committed to new forms of education, including Challenge Based Learning. In this context, students from the various institutions and from different disciplines work together on existing social issues.

For Young Proffessionals: Continuing education

For postdocs, university lecturers, doctors and technicians working in preventive health, we are developing a special continuing education programme. With interactive meetings on interdisciplinary cooperation, courses on artificial intelligence (AI), teaching modules on nutrition and health for technicians and many other themes.
