Eindhoven University of Technology, Wageningen University & Research, Utrecht University, and Utrecht University Medical Centre collaborate across disciplines, leveraging their unique strengths to complement each other. This alliance extends into diverse research fields and collaborative educational programs. Moreover, the alliance actively fosters connections with external partners in both industry and society, seeking valuable cooperation opportunities.
In the pursuit of its overarching goal, the Institute of Preventive Health aims to create a dynamic and interconnected community. Through this community, the institute aims to catalyze groundbreaking research, develop educational programmes, promote preventive health practices, and foster meaningful partnerships that extend beyond institutional boundaries.
Preventive Health Community Events
Events are invaluable platforms for i4PH, fostering networking opportunities, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. Our events bring together experts, researchers, and professionals from various disciplines, creating a vibrant environment for sharing cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, and best practices in preventive health. They enable the i4PH community to stay updated on the latest advancements, establish meaningful connections, and initiate fruitful collaborations.
Our events include:
- Yearly Conference. The i4ph organizes a yearly conference on the topic of Preventive Health. These conferences aim to bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and other partners across disciplines to explore cutting-edge topics in preventive health.
- Lunch & Learn. These hour-long (online) lunches bring together experts on various topics, who talk about their field of work while you enjoy your lunch.
- Pressure Cookers. Pressure Cookers, often conducted online, serve as dynamic platforms for scientists to come together and explore new research possibilities through multidisciplinary or transdisciplinary collaboration. These intensive sessions foster innovation, encourage diverse perspectives, and amplify the potential impact of our research.
