Health@Home

To what extent do food preparation apps and other technology help older people to live independently at home for longer?

These kinds of questions are being investigated within the Health@Home programme. The goal is to contribute to promoting digital self-management and digital self-organization through concrete living lab implementations by 2030. It will focus on frail elderly individuals who wish to avoid institutionalization, who used to go to the hospital, those with risk factors like falling and loneliness. The societal challenges addressed include how to optimize functioning, participation in society, and a sense of purpose and meaning, as well as how to optimally help and monitor patients at home with technological innovations.
